Come one, Come all !!
To Your 2004 A/1/8 Reunion
Atlantic City, New Jersey
Your 2004 Reunion Committee has been hard at work and the contracts signed and dates locked in for a Monday, September 13th arrival and kick off and Friday, September 17th farewell and departure!
We will be staying at the recently renovated and historically significant Madison House Hotel which is owned and operated by the Sands Casino Hotel and is connected to the Sands by a skywalk. We will be right in the heart of Atlantic City, among the many Hotels and Casinos and of course the Boardwalk and Beach, BRING YOUR BATHING SUITS as the weather and ocean are typically excellent for swimming and beach bumming!. The price per room is $86.75 (taxes included). Check out the Hotel Website: http://www.atlanticcity.com/madison.htm
The Hospitality Suite will be ready for your arrival on Monday, September 13th and will be available until noon, Friday September 17th.
Featured Activities include but are not limited too:
Car Pool Trip to Cape May (Weather Permitting) -Shopping/Sightseeing, Casino, Beach, Boardwalk, Deep Sea Fishing, Historical Philadelphia, Factory Outlet Stores and many more. Brochures will be available in the Hospitality Suite if you want to venture on your own.
There is an optional group bus day trip to Washington D.C. (The Vietnam Wall) on Wednesday, September 15th.being offered and will happen if, due to the expense, at least thirty people sign up. This trip will take approximately nine hours as the ride is two and a half to three hours each way and of course we will want to spend some time at the memorial.
As always group events focus on or are centered around meals which this year include; a large-fully stocked hospitality suite, Morning Breakfast each day (Tues., Wed., Thurs. and Friday), Dinner Buffet Tuesday evening at Rossi's in the Sand's Hotel and Dinner, Dancing and the Punch Bowl Ceremony Thursday Evening in the Historic Towne of Smithville.
We are going to have a great time, so join us. This year the price for the gathering is $180.00 Per Person which is higher than years past but includes so much more!
Space on the shore and especially Atlantic City is at a premium in September and we were able to block out our rooms only through the end of March at which time they go back into the general reservation system and our very special rate goes away. (These rooms typically go for $180!) So, if you have even the slightest inkling that you are going to attend this year’s reunion, call today and reserve a room, you can always release it later, at no cost up to 48 hours before arrival. So, make your hotel reservation ASAP by calling: AC Tours and Entertainment NOW, IMMEDIATELY @ 1–800-252-5866. Speak with Michael and mention the A/1/8 Reunion.
Remember, Atlantic City is a resort area and rooms must be booked ASAP.
Please, please understand they are available only until the end of March, so book early.
(And if you should decide to give it up later, contact Maria first as we are certain to need the room for someone else!)
See you there.
Regards,
George and Maria Adornetto
